Most recently, Mr. Sugar starred in Hedwig and the Angry Inch at The Avenue Theater and has directed productions with The Avenue Theater, Colorado Light Opera and Town Hall Arts Center.

Denver Post Ovation Award, Director of the Year in 2007 and 2008;  2007 Henry Award, Direction (Dog Sees God);  2006 Henry Award, Direction (The Rocky Horror Show)

Other News
Prior to his time in Denver, Mr. Sugar worked in Hong Kong, Los Angeles and New York. Mr. Sugar is proud to be a part of the Denver theater community and serves on the Board of Directors for The Colorado Theater Guild and Town Hall Arts Center.
